Indecent Content or Inappropriate Content
We reserve the right to delete any account without notice if it contains any material thats deemed inappropriate or pornography of any kind. You cannot post art that promotes violence or hate. Thecardartists.com reserves the right to delete these account at anytime and the owners will be banned from the site. The artists and writers have the right to remove their work at anytime without explanation. We do allow nudes, however if it’s deemed inappropriate for this thecardartists.com, then it will be removed without notice.
Copyrights
Licensing Your Content to Thecardartists.com. You will retain ownership of the Content that you upload to the Website. You hereby grant to Thecardartists.com a royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, nonexclusive, right and license to use such Content, in all media existing now or created in the future, as Thecardartists.com deems necessary to enable you to use the Create & Buy Service to create, produce and purchase Products. Thecardartists.com may sublicense the rights that you grant it in this Section to a third party subcontractor only for purposes of providing the Thecardartists.com Service, processing your order, and producing and shipping your Products
All rights to the art and written material remains with the artists and writers. Thecardartists.com acts as a third-party responsible only for thecardartists.com web site maintenance, printing and shipping of artists and writers products to purchasing customers of thecardartists.com. Artists / Writers transfer no rights to thecardartists.com at anytime. All copyrights and ownership of submitted materials remain with the artists or writers who submitted said material. You must own all rights to the material you are selling before posting. Thecardartists.com is not responsible for any copyright violation due to improper posting or usage of copyrighted material by vendors, artists or writers. Any disputed materials will be removed. It is the artist’s and writer’s responsibility to protect their work . Any material found to be in violation of copyright laws will be removed.
Pay Pal
All credit card and Pay Pal transaction fees and transfer fees are to be paid for by the vendor, artists or writer who made the sale. All artists are paid via Pay Pal on the 15th of every month . Sales period ends on the 10th of every month and payments are reconciled the follow week. Artists and writers are responsible for all transaction fee’s.
All Pay Pal processing fees will be covered by the artist or writer or both.
Payment To Artists
Thecardartists.com charges a service fee of $1.18¢ per card to print any artist’s image. This fee covers printing, order fulfillment and customer care. This fee is subject to change. All Artists and Writers are paid via Pay Pal.
Example of pay out: Artists charges $2.98 -1.18=$1.80 profit to the artists.
Payment to Writers
Poets set prices for each poem or prose that they upload to thecardartists.com and that amount will be added to the price of the card .Poets are paid each time the poem is printed. Poets retain all rights.If no price is posted with the poem and the poem is posted.Then the poet gives approval explict approval to the cardartists.com to reprint the poem only for the purpose of fufilmentof an order or promotional purpose only.
Writers will be paid when there account reaches a balance of $5.00. Then the 15th of every month there after.
As with artists, poets will pay all fee's that are generated by Paypal .
E-groups are charged 25% of each membership subscription by thecardartists.com. Group moderaters set the subscription rates for each group. This fee is taken at the time of payment to each group.
Cancellation
The artists or writer may cancel their account at anytime. Because there are products associate with each account deleting your account may take some time please allow up to 48 hours for a deletion to take place. Deleted accounts are reconciled within 14 business days or the next pay period which ever is earliest. Terms and Conditions of usage are subject to change. All artists and writers will be notified of changes and may choose to opt out at any time.
Trademark & Logo
TheCardartists.com logo and the name thecardartists.com are trademarks of Thecardartists Inc . Artists may not use the Logo or name at anytime without expressed written permission from Thecardartists Inc.
