Thecardartists.com charges a set printing fee! Anything over that is paid to the artists and poets.

When artists create e-card groups to distribute and promote their work and charge a subscription fee for membership they receive 75% of the fee! The more people that join to send e-cards the more money you make.

Artists can open their own art gallery to promote selling of their original works. If we process the order then we charge a 2.5% processing fee.

At thecardartists.com the artist sets the price for each card! So the amount of profit you make is up to you!
Thecardartists.com charges a set fee of $1.18 per card. So if you charge $3.00 per card you would receive $1.82 profit! Any amount over the set fee of $1.18 is paid to the artists minus PayPal 2.9% transaction fee's that PayPal charges.

The amount of money you make will depend on how much you market your cardartists shop!

9.How much can I make as a Poet?

Thecardartists is one of the few places that offers a poet the opportunity to post work in any language and receive a revenue stream with the added benefit of marketing their name beyond the local media.

Poets can charge a set fee to reprint their poem in a greeting card!

10. Why does the Visual artists have to give up 20% of there profit?
Poems and prose posted in different languages gives the visual artists a better chance of a sale! No other site offers the shopper the choice of a different poem for any one image. 12. I'm just kinda lost what do I do?

To post your art or poem or prose:

1. Register as a store admin.

2. Follow the instructions for posting a product

3. Look for Product Description: This is a large Text Box. In this box copy and paste your poem or prose and it will be printed inside your card.

You will also see a box for pricing. Enter the amount you would like to charge. Make sure that you choose the correct money symbol.
You may charge whatever price you wish.

13. What about Privacy?
Thecardartists does not share anything with anybody at anytime, period.
